Avengers Endgame is a 2019 Marvel Studios full One of the greatest theories about the plot of Avengers: Endgame movie are the trips in the time. A list of the cast of the film that has recently been updated seems to confirm it.
The list of Internet Movie Database (IMD) has included as part of the cast - at least explicitly - two characters of the seventies, which seems to suggest that some of the Avengers traveled to that time in their attempt to defeat Thanos. This is Monica Mathis as "girl of the 70s car" and Miles Webb as "laboratory scientist of the 70's".
This also increases the possibility of another theory: Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) could return to the past in the seventies to meet his father Howard Stark (John Slaterry). For this, he could use his invention of Captain America: Civil War, the Binarily Augmented Retro-Framing (B.A.R.F.), since this augmented reality device allowed him to return to the final conversation with his parents.
This theory arose given that the actor John Slattery, who has played Howard in Iron Man 2 (2010), Ant-Man (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016), was seen on the set in Atlanta while the film was being finished being recorded last September.
